Mitsubishi EDM Gantry Eagle 1400 Plus
Like most sinker EDM machines, the OPS-Ingersoll Gantry Eagle 1400 features a dual 32-bit, PC-based CNC Control that enables faster data processing and servo control. The machine's unique construction provides thermal stability and rigidity and its 4-sided drop tank design allows work-area access from all sides. The Eagle 1400 is one of the first machines to utilizethe new Eagle PowerTecpower supply with the world's first Adaptive Current-Shapegenerator. Each discharge pulse calculates and creates the ideal current shape for the exact discharge requirements needed. Eagle PowerTec and Eagle Power Jump work together to drasticallyreduceelectrode wear and reduceburn times by up to 50 percent—especially in graphite.
