We’ve added some new specs on a couple Genos-series vertical machining centers offered by Okuma America. The M460-VE has a 30" × 18" × 18" work envelope, while the M560-V’s work envelope measures 41" × 22" × 18".
The Genos M460-VE features a double-column structure for increased machining capability in reduced floor space. It is also part of the company’s Affordable Excellence collection of machines.
Enlarging the work envelope over the M460-VE, the Genos M560-V combines a new high-column design and CAT 40 Big Plus spindle to cut large, complex parts. It is highly rigid and thermally stable, being one of the heaviest machines in its class, according to the company.
