Haas Multigrind CA

The CA, like its big sister the CB, is built in HAAS’s Multicube design – aninnovative design principle,which offers an a highlevel of stability and rigidity. The machine is equipped with agenerously sized workspace. With its performance characteristics, the Multigrind®CA is agrinding machine for demanding and cost-conscious manufacturers and regrinders of rotationally symmetric precision tools and indexable inserts, parts for the aerospace industry, and medical technology. On the CA, you can grind workpieces with a diameter of up to 250mm and a length of up to 400mm with typical HAAS precision. Despite its compact measurements, the CA offers travel ranges (X-axis: 630mm; Y-axis: 345mm; Z-axis: 430mm), which means you can machine larger rotationally symmetrical or cubic workpieces with less floor space. Depending on the grinding process, the CA can be equipped with grinding wheels with a diameter of up to 250mm, and 12 wheels fit in the patented double-wheel changer, giving the ope rator increased flexibility to combine operations. Equipped with an automation unit, the CA also offers precision and efficiency in serial production processes with low labor content.
