Each DIXI 210 / DIXI 270 is subject to over 500 hours of manual guidewayscraping to achieve a volumetric accuracy of under 0.001 / 0.002 in. and positioning accuracy of 0.00016 / 0.00024 in. in all axes (ISO 230-2).The measuring instruments are mounted on the table while the Y-axis is moving. The positioning accuracy and repeatability are measured at a reference height of H1. Small geometric inaccuracies along the Y-axis represented by roll, yaw and tilt, greatly increase with the height in the work area.Thanks to the traditional, highly accurate and elaborate scraping process, these inaccuracies can beminimized. The result is a significantly increased tool tip positioning accuracy within the entire work area for exceptional volumetric precision.
