Soraluce Floor Type Boring Mill The substantially built main machine structure is manufactured out of GG-30 pearlitic cast iron. The design of the machine has been calculated by the computer generated "Finite Element Method" (FEM) simulation technique. Consequently the adoption of this method along with the selection of the most suitable materials for manufacture optimizes stiffness, damping, and stress absorption ensuring complete mechanical stability. The X, Y and Z axes utilize INA linear guide ways, consisting of several bearing packs with four sets of diagonally opposed and totally enclosed recirculating roller bearings, running on a precision hardened and ground guide rail.
