offers a range of services to meet customer goals.
Customer Value Files (CVF) are living documents that capture all the
services Sandvik Coromant provides a customer. It is a tool that can
be used by engineering and purchasing to evaluate Sandvik Coromant's
performance and measure the value of the additional services we
provide in their facility.
Sandvik Coromant sales representatives perform diligent information
gathering and documentation during everyday interaction with
customers.
Productivity Improvement Programs (PIP) involve Sandvik Coromant
representatives working with customer personnel to optimize
manufacturing operations. The objectives of a PIP are to consolidate
tools and inserts, reduce production costs, increase machine
capacity and identify metal cutting safety issues issues. The goal
is to reach a 20% or higher productivity gain for the customer.

Insert Rationalization Programs (IRP) consolidates and streamlines
carbide insert
inventories and assortment through upgrading. The
objective is to reduce tooling and production, as well as to provide
customers with application training to gain maximum performance from
modern insert grades and geometries. The goal is a 20% or higher
reduction in tooling costs.Sandvik Coromant offers customized
on-site training at customer
facilities as well as comprehensive training packages that may be
used for individual study or by your own training personnel.
Additional training and seminars are offered at the Productivity Center are
held in our modern classroom facilities and include live
demonstrations on CNC machine tools. Our instructors combine years
of experience in the metalworking industry with effective training
skills.
