The EDNC17 machine provides larger X/Y strokes and larger work tank capacities over the EDNC15. The machine is equipped with the Windows 7-based Hyper-i control, which provides a universal interface for all Makino EDM machines, and utilizes a 24” class high definition touch screen with advanced functions to enhance operator and machine performance. The EDNC17 can be configured with the high speed HS-Rib Z-axis that provides jump motions up to 20m/min with for fast rough machining operations with low electrode wear. User-friendly operation is provided with the rise and fall 4-sided work tank, and the stationary work table design and integral di-electric reservoir ensure precision while minimizing floor space.
