PROFILE

Pacific Press Technologies revolutionized the metal forming industry in 1945 with the introduction of the first hydraulic press brake in the United States. Over the next ten years, the company further developed the product and became an international company with a dominant domestic midwestern market. In 1955, manufacturing was moved from the original Oakland, California location to the current location to be closer to the key metalworking markets. Later, all operations were consolidated to the single Mt. Carmel, Illinois location.

The product line was expanded to include hydraulic production shears and hydraulic presses in addition to the press brakes. For nearly 60 years, the company's focus has been the development of innovative hydraulic powered products for metal and composite forming.
