The Leadwell BC-960 and BC-960T represent the largest, heavy-duty capacity 5-axis head-table machining centers in the BC Series, engineered specifically for high-precision, large-format manufacturing in demanding aerospace and industrial applications. Serving as the flagship platform, it features a massive 2,040 mm X-axis travel, 1,000 mm Y-axis travel, and a large $\text{\O}800\text{ mm}$ embedded rotary table integrated into a heavy 2,100 x 1,000 mm work table setup. Powered by a high-torque 15,000 rpm built-in spindle, linear roller guide ways, dual-nut ball screws, and a swivel head with a $\pm110^\circ$ B-axis range, both models utilize Heidenhain linear and angle encoders to ensure exceptional stability and dynamic accuracy over extensive machining zones. The BC-960T variant builds on these large-scale capabilities by incorporating multi-tasking turning functionality via a high-torque direct-drive C-axis rotary table and standard 63T (HSK) tooling.
