Makino Super Compact Horizontal Machining Center
The N2 may be the smallest, most accurate, high speed, horizontal
machining center capable of holding 0.0001" tolerances available in the
marketplace, today. Though small, (footprint of 47 x 78), this 10HP HMC is
designed with rigidity due to a massive ram style spindle configuration
with massive bearing surface support. Ideal for complex, high accuracy
machining, the N2 and 5-axis version, N2-5AX , were made for medical
components and other complicated parts with 3D surface machining.
