ZPS H63 5-Axis Horizontal Machining Center Original solution of the horizontal machining center with 2-axis NC table. Five axis machining center. Machine design is based on traversable column (Z-axis). Headstock travels within its frame structure (vertical Y-axis). X-axis travel belongs to the saddle with rotary table. A-axis = table tilting in range from -30 degrees up to +105 degrees from horizontal plane. B-axis = table rotation, max. speed 8 rpm. Spindle drive with planetary gearbox gives full power / S6 - 40% : 17 / 25 kW (23/35 hp) at max. speed of : 8,000 rpm, Torque/S6 - 40% : 415 / 611 Nm (306/444 ft-lb) Digital AC feed servo drives, Ball screws driven via timing belts, Ball screws diameter 63 mm( 2.5") Linear roller w ays in all all axes. Table working area diameter 26" Workpiece maximum dimensions diameter 700x800 mm (27.56"x 31.5") Maximum table load 2,200 lb. Machine is equipped with automatic tool changer, chain magazine and 102 tool capacity.
