Shigiya GPV-10 / GAV-10

The GPV-10 vertical CNC grinder features a compact footprint of 1 square meter to accommodate a range of production line layouts. The machine's wide opening allows for easy loading and automation. An innovative gate structure ensures precision grinding by counter measuring against vibration, thermal displacement and noise and ensures extreme precision after a cold start, and even during post-process grinding. A wheel changer is available on the GAV-10. Infeed is performed by the table moving toward the wheel. High-rigidity type is selected for the guide. Mounted on the wheel side of the wheelhead is the non-concentric hydrodynamic bearing for the wheel spindle, which utilizes a low temperature hudrodynamic bearing that keeps the processing heat relatively low by optimizing the bearing clearnance and the wdge angle.
