Doosan 5-Axis VC630 / 5AX Vertical Machining Center Doosan 5-Axis VC630 / 5AX Vertical Machining Center The machine is equipped with a high rigidity, high speed built-in 40 taper spindle designed for a wide range of applications, from heavy duty cutting for exotic materials such as titanium and inconel, to high speed cutting of aluminum and other non ferrous materials. The spindle uses the BIG PLUS taper system for added rigidity. The built-in table is a trunnion style that provides optimal rigidity. The one piece bed is a rigid construction, heavily ribbed, Meehanite casting. Fine grained cast iron is ideal for its vibration absorbtion qualities. The travelling column design adds an extra component of support to the table and workpiece which remain stationary during machining.
