The CEGA SS-300 features a high-rigidity structure and minimized distance between the guide surface and spindle center, providing greater stability. The high-rigidity bed with ideal rib distribution guarantees static positioning accuracy of ±0.000060" and ±0.000020" repeatability.
The CEGA SS-300 is also capable of a wide speed range (200 - 30,000 RPM) using an oil-mist lubricated spindle and a 20-HP AC spindle motor. The new HSK-E40 holder achieves six times higher clamping force than a regular BT shank and Dual Balance Cylinders reduce the load for the ball screw and servo motor.
The CEGA SS-300 also features a Fanuc 31i-B5 Super High-Speed Processor and Al Contour Control II – a "NANO CNC System" with Intelligent Velocity Control, NANO Interpolation and NANO Smoothing.
