The MC-4000 is a full feature 5-axis vertical machining center designed to be compact and capable of handling a 440-pound workpiece on a 17.7-inch table surface. The Heidenhain TNC-640 control with a 19” TFT LCD color display unit is mounted for optimal convenience with easy height adjustment. With both front and side opening doors, the MC-4000 lends itself to both manual and automated part loading and unloading. The MC-4000 is an advanced, multi-tasking 5-axis, 15,000RPM spindle, vertical machining center designed for producing complicated parts at high speeds. With a 5-axis control configuration, 48-position ATC and BIG Plus CAT-40 tooling, complex machining can be accomplished on the MC-4000 in one setup. This dramatically reduces machining time, while helping you stay competitive.
