Star ST-38
Star ST-38 Swiss type Automatic Lathe with Three turrets and sub spindle Star Micronics has developed a new swiss-type automatic lathe. The ST-38 targets medical, automobile and aviation industries requiring the machining of complex parts and difficult-to-cut materials, such as titanium. For a Swiss type machine, the ST-38 provides larger envelope capacity. Up to Three turrets with 10 tools each, can machine the part simultaneously. Cycle time reduction is a key benefit. The Star Motion Control System provides unique control path and tool change optimization functions to enhance the most complex processes.
