The TT1020M Precision Profile Grinder delivers exceptional accuracy, flexibility, and operator-friendly simplicity for producing a wide range of precision tooling. Designed for both versatility and ease of use, the TT1020M allows operators to program complex shapes and profiles in minutes using intuitive icon-based Conversational Software™, while integrated training and maintenance modules streamline operation, reduce downtime, and lower total cost of ownership.
Supporting profile and plunge grinding applications, the TT1020M handles diameters up to 229 mm (9") and grind lengths up to 508 mm (20") between centers, with a maximum load capacity of 80 kg (176 lbs). A standard 1A1 wheel produces accurate, repeatable profiles, while quick setup features help minimize non-cut time and improve overall efficiency. A semi-enclosed splash guard enhances safety and coolant control during operation.
A wide range of optional features further expands capability, including overhead and precision probing for automatic length and part-orientation adjustment, ID spindle attachment, hydraulic tailstock, telescoping safety splash doors, multiple coolant system configurations, and a precision oil chiller with 5 µm filtration. Advanced dressing and wheel management options—including 2-point, 3-point, and rotary dressing, SBS acoustic dressing, and SBS wheel balancing—ensure consistent wheel performance and optimal surface finish.
