CNC New GT-DS2X Dual Spindle Gang Tool Lathe
GT-DS2X with GSK 988TD CNC Control is a machine that solves many challenges of machining the front and back side of parts 2” in diameter and smaller. This machine design includes two independently programmable gang slides with 20.4” of X-travel, programmable Z-Axis of 15.7” sliding headstock, and ten hp integral machine spindles. The 988TD can control up to 10 axes and four spindles; each path includes six feed axes (including the C-Axis), a 3-axis link, and three spindles to realize turning with compound milling operations. The servo motors use high-resolution absolute encoders. Complete sheet metal enclosure, way covers, and dual coolant tanks & pumps. The machine warranty is two years for CNC components and one year for mechanical. Machine Lead time is 90 to 120 days from receipt of deposit, depending on the options or automation included with the order.
