Maier ML125 Linear Swiss Type Turning Center The ML 125 Linear Series Swiss style turning center provides efficiency and speed in a small footprint! With dimensions of 1500 x 800 mm the ML-ProLine Linear is the most compact of the line. With a maximum bar capacity of up to 12 mm, the model is ideal for high precision turning of small parts. Up to 20 tools provide quality and efficiency. Two independent systems, movable in X and Y - Direction, creating a real two-part-system for turning the front part and the back of the work piece simultaneously. Turning and milling, respectively roughing and finishing is realized at the same time. Because of linear motors, the ML-Linear is highly dynamic and has a maximum acceleration of up to 2G. In addition, has a fast traverse of 40m/min. T he Linear Series can compete against CAM Automatics. Main and opposed spindle are driven by a 1,5 kW strong Built-in-Motor, with a peak power of 2,2 kW. Main spindle speed and opposed spindle speed can reach 10.000 t/min.
