The Star Cutter NXT CNC 5-axis tool and cutter grinder delivers a large grind zone within a compact footprint that maximizes productivity without consuming valuable floor space. With travels of 19.7" (500 mm) in X, 25.6" (650 mm) in Y, and 29.5" (750 mm) in Z, the NXT handles both small and large diameter tools, supporting up to 15" end work, 10" diameter parts, and grinding wheels up to 8".
Powered by industry-leading NUMROTO software, the NXT provides advanced programming flexibility and full control over complex tool geometries. Linear motor drives replace traditional ball screws to eliminate backlash, reduce vibration, and minimize friction, while high-resolution glass scales ensure precise positioning and repeatable accuracy.
A modular, configurable design allows manufacturers to tailor the machine to specific applications, and machine-centered wheel changing with up to five storage locations improves efficiency and reduces downtime.
