matec 30P Traveling Column Gantry Style Vertical/Horizontal Machining Center matec 30 P matec-50 P - for single and small series production The travelling gantry machining centre matec-30 P with optional 2-axis swivel head has been designed for single and series production of larger surface and voluminous parts for tool and mold making, structural steel engineering, and mechanical engineering. Main range of application is the mach ining of 3D-shapes in steel and aluminium, plates, welding and steel constructions. Travelling paths X-axis 1,500 - 12,000 mm Fixed machine table X-axis drive provided by two ball roller spindles (gantry format), including X-axis double guide on each gantry side (roller guides, size 65) Fixed ball roller spindles (driven nut system) in the X- and Y-axis Tool magazine travels in the X-axis with the travelling column unit Motor spindle rated at 9,000/ (12,000/15,000/ 18,000) rpm (water-cooled) Multiface machining through the use of a 2-axis CNC motor spindle milling head (+/- 90 degrees)
