Sharp-CNC SV-5128
The Sharp SV-5128series of vertical machining centers uses a "C" frame design with hardened and ground box ways. All structural components are made of Meehanite castings with internal ribs running throughout each section. Hand scraping of bearing surfaces insures near perfect alignment and long term accuracy. With a 25 HP main spindle drive and up to 10,000 or 12,000 RPM and CAT 40 Spindle Taper this series is capable of handling a wide range of applications.
